Every day I feel fortunate that I get to do something that I love and feel called to do - help people plan their financial future and help ensure they stay on the right track to reach their goals and dreams in retirement.
My journey started at 17 years old when my father had me set up a Roth IRA with some of the earnings from my first job. Having that foresight and eye to the future made an impression on me and instilled a desire in me to help others be financially aware and take the steps they need to make to achieve financial independence.
I began my career with Lincoln Financial Advisors in 1999 and I am fortunate to be able to join a group of planners that shared the same passion of helping others with the Lincoln “Serve First” approach. I love that we work with the whole spectrum of people, from professionals just getting their career off the ground to retirees well into retirement.
Part of what gives me excitement is knowing that no two situations are alike and that each of my clients requires a customized solution, taking into their account their unique situation, their goals and objectives, and using a process-oriented approach to come up with a plan for them. My clients see me as their advisor, counselor, sounding board, advocate and friend. I value the relationship and trust that we build over years of working together. My team and I understand that we are helping our clients as they navigate the waters of some of the most important decisions they will ever have to make. We feel honored that our clients put that kind of trust in our hands and so we strive to give our best to them each and every day.
I am a Bay Area native and live in the East Bay with my wife and daughter. I graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor’s of Science in Managerial Economics and I am a proud Aggie! In my spare time, I love watching baseball, being active in my church community, trying new restaurants with my family, and being outside on the beautiful trails we have in the Bay Area.
